Anatomy Map
This module maps the heart and vessels before working through the word-building cards below.
You need six facts: not a cardiology course.
- The heart is a pump.
- Arteries carry blood away from the heart.
- Veins carry blood back toward the heart.
- Vessels is the umbrella term for those tubes.
- Blood can collect outside vessels as a hematoma.
- Blood can solidify inside a vessel as a thrombus, or clot.
