endo-, intra-, peri-, and epi- mean within, inside, around, or upon (Greek/Latin).

"EN-doh / IN-truh / PAIR-ee / EP-ee." Coach: "These prefixes place the problem: inside, around, or on a structure."

Examples: endocarditis, endoscopy, endotracheal, intravenous, intracranial.
